16.-18.10.2026 Mapping Fear (Exhibition)

How does public space feel, when it’s different for everyone?

Mapping Fear is a participatory exhibition exploring fear, insecurity, freedom, and a sense of belonging in public spaces.

The exhibition brings personal experiences to light and asks how identity, the body, background, and socialization can shape the way we experience and navigate public spaces. Rather than presenting one single perspective, Mapping Fear brings together different experiences, voices, and perceptions, creating a space for exchange, reflection, and conversation.

What makes a place feel safe? When do we feel uncomfortable, watched, excluded, or free? And how differently can the same space be experienced by different people?

We invite you to explore the exhibition, engage with the stories and perspectives presented, and reflect on your own relationship with public space.
