The Trio BATWORK was formed in Hamburg in 2022. Their Sound grows out of interferences between post-punk, triphop, vivid soundscapes, ambient and patience – relating within environments questioning: how far is close?
Coming from brutal noise improvisations with his former duo susanne+boris, a long time ago kalmen rossbreiten decided to do something that actually appeals to people. Well, it didn’t really work out. Not much people were drawn to his sound and his interest in creating social-media-buzz was too low. So here he is with his last album before he fades into the abyss. “Bevor es wegkommt” is a collection of old and nearly new material, ranging from stomping electro-punk to hissing ambient-soundscapes.
