Listening Session “Luk Thung” with Dr. Fraß

The third event in the new listening session series at the Bunker! Together, we explore specific genres, musical movements, and traditions — listening attentively while delving into the content and history of the music through various formats such as talks, interviews, and discussions.

This time with Dr. Fraß, (https://www.instagram.com/fras_dr/) who will provide us with an insight into the Thai working-class pop music genre Luk Thung. The session will also branch out into genres like rock, pop, and soul.

In a conversational format, we’ll learn about the background of the genre and hear spoken contributions from individuals engaged in the Luk Thung scene.
